چکیده

An interfaced plasma chromatograph/mass spectrometer (ALPHA-II) permits Identification of the positlve and negative ionic specles associated with ionlc peaks In the plasma chromatographic mobility spectra of pnitrophenol. The posltive ions observed and their reduced mobility values (KO) are MNO+ (1.67), MH+ (1.80) and the negative ion is [M HIat (1.87). These are essentially the ions that are predicted from chemical ionization mass spectrometry princlples and mobility data alone. An ion observed at mass 108 (KO 1.91) results from a thermal decomposition product of pnitrophenol. The major reactant ions were found at m/e 18, 30, 37, and 65, with probable structures of NH4+, NO', (H20)*H+and ( H20)2N2H+. The 37 and 65 ions occur at the same mobility. Comparison of reduced mobllity values, KO, between two independent laboratories gives an agreement within experimental reproducibility of f0.02 for these spectra.

Metabolism of 2-Chloro-4-Nitrophenol in a Gram Negative Bacterium, Burkholderia sp. RKJ 800

A 2-chloro-4-nitrophenol (2C4NP) degrading bacterial strain designated as RKJ 800 was isolated from a pesticide contaminated site of India by enrichment method and utilized 2C4NP as sole source of carbon and energy. The stoichiometric amounts of nitrite and chloride ions were detected during the degradation of 2C4NP. On the basis of thin layer chromatography, high performance liquid chromatogra...

Electrospray ionization high-resolution ion mobility spectrometry-mass spectrometry.

A hybrid atmospheric pressure ion mobility spectrometer is described which exhibits resolving power approaching the diffusion limit for singly and multiply charged ions (over 200 for the most favorable case). Using an electrospray ionization source and a downstream quadrupole mass spectrometer with electron multiplier as detector, this ESI-IMS-MS instrument demonstrates the potential of IMS for...

Determination of Mebudipine in Human Plasma by Liquid Chromatography–tandem Mass Spectrometry

In previous studies, mebudipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, showed a considerable potential to be used in cardiovascular diseases. The aim of the current study was to develop a valid method using reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry to assay mebudipine in the human plasma. Separation was achieved on a Zorbax...
